Irene Mary Hatcher

At 20 years old Irene married her husband George, who was better known as Sonny. They started their life together in Hazel Park then moved to Saint Clair Shores where they were happily married for 44 years. Together they had two beautiful daughters, Linda and Janice whom she loved deeply, along with her sons in law John and Larry.

She had 4 beautiful Grandchildren, Jeffery, Jessica, Milan- Jessica’s husband, Chris, Beth – Chris’ wife and Casey who she absolutely adored and would do anything for. The bond between Jeffrey and Irene was something truly extraordinary and unique. Also she was very close with Christopher’s wife Beth, who she always loved as one of her own and could always manage to get a smile out of her.

In addition, she was also blessed with 4 great grandchildren, Zackary, Isabella, Zynessa and Reeve, as well as her grand animals which she loved to refer to as “the crew”.

While she lived by little means, she gave everything to family. She was always willing to give of herself in order to help out others. Her kind heart and giving nature touched many lives. She was a truly amazing woman with the most compassionate, generous heart. She will never be forgotten and always be in our hearts.
