James Edward Carroll, age 82, of Gladwin, Michigan, formerly of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on November 15, 2022. He was born on November 14, 1940, to the proud parents of Edward and Evelyn Carroll. James was the beloved husband of Genevieve “Jenny” Carroll for 58 years. Loving father to Anne (Mark DeLong) Carroll, Patricia Carroll, Sheila (Bill Givens) Carroll and Michael (Cindy) Carroll. Cherished grandfather of Nicole (Andrew) Carlisle, Brendan Nowakowski, Joshua (fiancée Kate Mullins) Kelly, Cameron Givens, Felix Carroll and Anna James Carroll. Dear brother to Edward T. Carroll and John (Mary) Carroll. James was a die maker for Chrysler for over 30 years before retiring and in his retirement years he worked as a county transit driver for 17 years in Gladwin. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, travel, and spending time with family.
James will lie in-state on Monday November 28, 2022, beginning at 10:00 am until time of mass at 10:30 am, at St. Margaret of Scotland Church 21201 E. 13 Mile Road, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48082.
Family will receive friends on Sunday November 27, 2022, from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm, with a scripture service at 7:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
