James Gifton

James Gifton, age 83, died peacefully August 20, 2014. Dear brother of Louis. He was predeceased by his siblings Theodora Christinidis, Helen Phessas, Mary Partelides, Toula McFeely, Bessie Soper, Sophie Spilos, Peter and George. He was loved by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. He played minor league baseball for the Philadelphia Athletics. He retired after 32 years of dedicated service to Stroh’s Brewing Company. He was an avid reader, history buff and volunteered for several organizations over the years. Visitation Friday 2:30 to 9 pm with a Trisagion at 4:30 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores. Instate Saturday 9:30 am until time of Funeral at 10 am at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 21800 Marter Rd, St Clair Shores. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
