It is with heavy hearts and loving memories that we share the passing of James Parrinello (Mr. P.), 78, who left us peacefully surrounded by family after a life well-lived, well-loved, and full of laughter.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Sally; his children Jim (Michelle), Pat (Rachael), and Amy (Eddie); and his beloved grandchildren Madison, Jimmy, Rebecca, and Vinny — all of whom he cheered for louder than anyone else in the stands.
A proud Army veteran, Jim, brought his dedication and team spirit to everything he did. Whether he was coaching youth baseball and basketball, running the Men’s Club concession stand (where he earned trophies for his legendary popcorn), or serving up smiles at fish fries and pancake breakfasts, he gave his time and heart to the community he loved. He was well liked by everyone who knew him — known for his easy laugh, kind nature, and the way he made everyone feel like a friend.
After retiring, Jim found joy at the St. Clair Shores Golf Course, where he offered golf advice to anyone who would listen — always free of charge, and often with a good-natured grin.
Beyond all his accomplishments, Jim will be remembered most as an amazing husband, a loving father, and a proud grandpa. His humor, generosity, and unwavering support made every moment brighter for those lucky enough to know him.
He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his family and friends.
