Jan Lynn Reiber, aged 79, of Clinton Township, Michigan passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Portland, Oregon, to John and Alice Warzywak, Jan was the cherished wife of the late James L. Reiber. She was a devoted mother to Darcy (Scott) Rohr, Chandra (David) Furi, and Thomas (Fiancée Maria Borwick) Ozar II, as well as a stepmother to Erin (Robin) Fischer-Ballew, Megan Reiber, and Andrew Reiber. Jan was affectionately known as Nana to Owen Furi, Evelynn Furi, and James Rohr.
Jan dedicated her career to advertising sales until her accident in 2005, yet her resilience knew no bounds. Despite adversity, she remained a vibrant part of her family's life, exuding courage and bravery. Always impeccably stylish, Jan left an indelible mark wherever she went. With her quick wit and infectious charm, she endeared herself to all who knew her. Jan's memory will be cherished by her extensive family and friends.
A memorial visitation to celebrate Jan's life will take place on Sunday, April 14, 2024, starting at 3:00 pm culminating with a service at 7:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, located at 28433 Jefferson Ave, St. Clair Shores, MI 48081. Jan will be laid to rest at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
