Janice Elaine Smith

Janice Elaine Smith, age 86, passed away on March 16, 2025. She was born in Hartford City, Indiana on September 16, 1938 to her late parents Samuel and Flora Culbertson. Janice was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bruce H. Smith Sr. She is survived by her loving children: Bruce (Denise) Smith Jr., Dale (Cynthia) Smith, Lisa (Jeff) Haag, Brian (Patricia) Smith, Steven (Laura) Smith, Cynthia (Martin) Zimmerman; dear grandchildren: Kyle, Dale (Vanessa), Cassandra (Ian), Jessica (Matthew), Bruce, Chelsea (Ryan), Olivia (Bruce), Austin, Samantha, Ciara, Luke, Zachary; great-grandchildren: Dorothy, Peyton, Lincoln, Loxie, Alexandria, Ellie, Daisy; and brother: Gary. Janice was also preceded in death by her brothers: Sam and Chuck. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Visitation, Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. A private burial will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Twp, MI.
