Jeffrey Paul Jacobs

Beloved husband of Jacqueline for nearly 35 years. Loving father of Anne Greene, Emily Vladic (Franjo,) Jillian Cook (Shawn,) Jeremiah Jacobs (Gabrielle,) and John Jacobs. Proud grandfather of Noah, Nico, Aleena, Desmond, Roman, Ari, and Henry. Devoted son of Robert Jacobs and Ruth Jacobs (deceased.) Dear brother of Richard Jacobs (deceased,) Mark Jacobs (Barb,) Robert Jacobs (Stephanie,) James Jacobs (Beth,) and Scott Jacobs (deceased.) Trusted friend and co-worker to many.

Jeff faithfully served his country in the U.S. Navy, ascending to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer (E-9.) After retiring from the Navy, he continued service to the nation as a U.S. Army Civilian, culminating his career at the historic Detroit Arsenal with 36 years of combined active duty and Civilian service.

A jovial, one-of-a-kind character, Jeff enjoyed helping people and making them laugh. He adored traveling with Jacqueline and his family and friends and was proud to hail from Ohio and cheer for the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Guardians. He was a keen, gifted, caring leader whose integrity was above reproach. He brought out the best in everyone around him and relished being part of a close-knit team providing America’s servicemembers the equipment they use to train and defend our nation.

Jeff will be forever remembered as a devoted family man, loyal friend, co-worker, and shipmate.

A celebration of his life will take place in the Spring/Summer of 2026.
