Mr. and Mrs. Gohr were the most lovely couple. Growing up on Revere with all the kids on the block holds great memories for me. There was never a time I wasn't welcome into their home, asked to stay for a meal or play in the yard. Whenever I went there, there was always a big smile and a warm hug. The unique thing about the neighborhood was that it was the men (dads) who would meet in front of someone's home just to visit and chat as the kids were all playing outside. The Gohr's were always there to open their arms to all the kids. In the later years I would always see them at mass and never missed a moment to say hello and always received a warm hug. Mike, Marty, Janet, Mary and Gail, my thoughts to all of you and know that both your parents will always hold a special place in my childhood memory and heart.
