I am a great admirer of Sir Joe Girard. So great that on April 2014 i sent an email at the joegirard.com to ask permission and or to inform him that i'll be naming my son Joe Girard Elegado in honor and to serve as my utmost expression of my admiration. My respect will remain as long as I live. The impact of his lectures from the book that i've read How To Sell Anything To Anybody greatly helped me excel to the sales jobs i went into, when i left teaching. My condolences to the bereaved family. God will comfort you and will heal you from your loss. God bless all of you. -Rod Elegado, Nueva Ecija, Philippines.

I never met Joe, but I read How to Sell Anything to Anybody and How to Sell Yourself. I would've been in my early 20's when I read them and for a shy young man, the information Joe had distilled was vital to my success.

I was saddened to hear of his death, but he lived an admirable life and has imparted some tremendous gifts on humanity. For his family: you should be extremely proud that he has made a positive change in the world by improving lives. God Bless him!

Been going through a pretty rough patch for the past few years. Found one of Joe's books, 13 Essential Rules of Selling, after seeing his name mentioned in a newspaper article last year.

Can't tell you how much it helped me move out of my funk. Everything is coming back together -- and I'm now looking forward instead of back into the past for the first time in a long time.

Thank you very much for sharing your secrets to success, Joe. They were absolutely brilliant. Your drive, spirit, and energy will always be with me.

Joe's message, I found written in his book, has remained with me from the day I read it.

"You can choose your destination. All you need to achieve has been placed within you. Serve others. Seek to spread your message. Be authentic. Pursue your goal. Live in one room - 24 / 7, 365."

Thank you for becoming the man you did professionally, I pray this was the same in your personal and family life. I choose to believe it was. See you soon Joe.

Joe has set the bar beyond where mere mortals can reach. He had experienced more success than many others and was so confident in his methods that he worked to teach others. His compassion was incredible. When I first started in this business, I purchased a few books from a variety of authors. The book where I heard my own voice was written by Joe. It provided a level of comfort and experience that I could build from. Within the first few months, I'd found the success I was searching for and it compelled me to send him a thank you note. In a short time, he had sent me a personal note of congratulations. That note still sits on my desk, nearly 20 years later. His drive, desire, and kind nature are rare commodities today. Know that Joe has improved the lives of tens of thousands of people that he's never met. His words, his encouragement, and his experience will live on for many generations.

Dear Grace, Joe and Family,

I was so sorry to hear about your dad passing away. I want you to know that I am thinking of you during this difficult time. It was a true blessing that you had him as long as you did.

Your Dad was a great man and had so much to be proud of. My memories of him have always been of him smiling and making jokes. You and Joe were his wonderful children and you Grace, his precious little girl.

I just wanted you to know that I was thinking of all of you at this time of grieving. I feel like a part of me just passed away as well. So many memories.....
With much love and sadness for your loss.
Love,
