Joseph James Leone, age 75, of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, surrounded by family. He was born on July 14, 1947 to the parents of Frank and Angelina Leone. Loving husband of 40 years to Paulette Leone. Beloved father to Mark (Julie) Witkowski, Nicholas (Erica Free) Leone, Frank Leone, and Danielle Leone. Cherished grandfather to Andrew and James Witkowski. Dear brother to Gaspare (Sandy) Leone, James (Anne) Leone, Rosina (the late Dino) Leone-Dakas, and Antoinette (Edward) Hoffmann. Joseph will be remembered in the hearts of many.
Joseph will lie in-state on Monday, December 12, 2022, beginning at 11:30 am, until time of mass at 12:00 noon, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 22412 Overlake Street, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48080.
Visitation Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, with a short memory service at 7:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery with Military Honors to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Joseph can be addressed to the Leone family.
