He is survived by his loving brother, Rory (Laura), and his nephew, Lee (Brenda), and great niece, Avery. He was predeceased by his parents, Anna and Emil, and his brother Michael.
Kurt loved Hockey when he was young. He was very passionate and loved taking pictures. He especially loved Greenfield Village and a smaller version of Greenfield Village, Stahl’s Car Museum, which he visited often. He was an avid fisherman, and loved fishing out on Lake St. Clair, where he learned how to fish from his Uncle Ted. He enjoyed driving to the Upper Peninsula, and reminiscing the days when he and Uncle Ted, along with Uncle Ted’s friend, Dutch, explored all that the UP has to offer. Kurt recently started bowling again, with the urging of his very good friend, Anthony, and he really enjoyed the time they spent together.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 3 to 5 pm at Kurt’s home, 23142 Doremus, St. Clair Shores, MI.
