Laurice Elizabeth Azoury, age 73, passed away on June 19, 2024. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 18, 1951. Laurice is survived by her beloved husband of 24 years, Richard Zakowich; her former spouse and lifelong friend Lawrence (Sue) Azoury; children: Michael (Renee) Azoury, and Kerry Zakowich; grandchildren: Christian Azoury, Jack Zakowich, Gianna Burns, and Evan Medina; parents: the late Duilio and Virginia DiLuigi; siblings: Thomas (Anthony) DiLuigi, Renee Holme, Joseph (Jill) DiLuigi, the late Cherie DiLuigi, James (Krista) DiLuigi. In-laws: the late George and Evelyne Azoury, Steven (Sally) Azoury, the late Raymond Azoury, Edmond (Mary) Azoury and all of her wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins amongst this truly amazing family. A funeral mass will be held at Saint Joan of Arc Church in St. Clair Shores on Saturday, August 17th at 10:00 AM. Please join us to remember and celebrate the life of Laurice Elizabeth Azoury.
