Ledger “John” Frasard Jr., age 68, died as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident, along with his brother Wesley Frasard Sr., November 7, 2012 in Mellette, South Dakota. Beloved husband of Kathleen. Loving father of Pamela (Scott) Rice and Cheryl (Doug) Bruder. Dearest grandfather of Eric, Amanda and Aiden. Dear brother of Patricia (the late Larry) Salis, June Rose (Cliff) Apers and the late Wesley (Gerhilde) Frasard Sr. John retired from the Grosse Pointe Shores Police Department after 28 years of service as a Public Safety Officer. He also was the founder and owner of Frasard Electric in St. Clair Shores. Visitation will be Wednesday 4-9 pm and Thursday 4-9 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores. Funeral Service Friday 12:30 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family, who will donate to MICOPS.
