Les Wilson, age 89. A long time St Clair Shores resident, passed away on Saturday, December 1st at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc. He was born on April 10th 1923 in London, Ontario; Canada. He was employed in the floor covering business for many years, was a veteran of WWII and a past commander and a member of the Bruce Post #1146 VFW in St. Clair Shores. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret in 2009. Surviving are his children Nancy (Robert) Tiede and Steve Wilson, Grandchildren Kristen (Tim) Newman, Aaron Upperstrom, Kara Upperstrom and Latasha Young and great grandchildren Maddie and David Newman, Mia and Jayden Upperstrom. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Wednesday at the Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores. Visitation Tuesday 3-9pm. Interment will follow at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy.
