Lesa Ann Bucceri, 68, passed away on June 1, 2026. Born January 13, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan to parents Merit and Mary Grooms. Lesa lived in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, and will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Lesa held various jobs after graduating from college, meeting each responsibility with steady diligence and a quiet determination. Yet none was more precious to her than raising her two boys, a devotion that reflected the depth of her care, her thoughtfulness, and the selfless way she placed the needs of others before her own.
Lesa also found great joy in her wine import business, where her hard work was matched by a warm generosity of spirit. She met many people through her work and took genuine care in helping them select the perfect bottle for a special occasion—an everyday act that, in her hands, became a meaningful way of serving others with kindness and consideration.
For many years, Lesa was married to Salvatore Bucceri, and together they shared special memories. Lesa was the beloved mother of Kristopher Grooms and Vincenzo Bucceri. She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Donald Grooms and William Grooms.
Lesa’s life was also shaped by simple, sincere joys. She had a green thumb and loved to garden, and her adventurous spirit drew her to travel. She loved her pets and the special companionship they brought to her life. Her favorite “hobby,” as those closest to her would recognize, was helping people. Lesa never turned anyone away, offering her time and care with a faithful constancy that left a lasting mark.
Visitation Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, beginning with a gathering at 10:00 am, until time of service at 11:00 am, at the funeral home.
Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan following the services at the funeral home.
