Lily Robbie Bruce

Lily Robbie Bruce, age 92, formerly of Grosse Pointe Woods passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026. She was born in Aberdeen, Scotland on March 23, 1934 to the proud parents of Alexander and Lily Robbie.

Loving mother to Lynne Valenzano, Caron (Stephen) Tanghe and Graeme (Shannon) Bruce. Cherished grandmother to Victoria Bruce, Erica Bruce, Alessandro “Alex” Valenzano, Nicoletta Valenzano, Stephen Tanghe and Ainsley Tanghe. Great-Grandmother to Jordan and Jesse Bruce, Rosalyn and Anthony Sarb and Lily Barker. She is also survived by her brother Alistair (Leslie) Robbie. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Alistair William Bruce and her brother Leonard Robbie.

A friend to many, Lily always spoke true, even in the dreariest of situations. She brought happiness to all those around her, even in her final days. The level head of the family, she knew how to make the best of a bad bunch with her witty sense of humor. Lily will be missed by many friends and family.
