Lorraine was the daughter of Helen Lesczhik (Niedbala) and Mike Lesczhik, older sister to twin younger sisters Jackie and Geri. She was a loving mother to Kim (Kritzman and husband John) and her grandchildren Ashley and Zach. And son Charles and her grandchildren, Georgia and Hunter. She was a cousin and aunt to many people too numerous to list, but was especially close to her cousin Mark (and his close friend Naomi).
She was born at St Francis Hospital in Hamtramck and grew up in Hamtramck and spoke often and fondly of her childhood and large Polish family. She was a single mother who raised her two kids while working full time as a legal secretary. She loved to bowl and enjoyed in her youth playing cards with her bowling team on Friday nights. She was an avid sports fan and loved watching U of M football.
Later in her years she enjoyed relaxing and visiting with her neighbor Laurel where she lived in the condo complex, they had a wonderful bond and became close friends.
She passed peacefully in the hospital on the morning of February 1, 2022.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday February 9, 2022, from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm for a memorial gathering, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
