I was saddened when I heard of Lori's passing.  I was aware of her illness and hoped she would overcome it.  I am a former coworker of Lori's from CSC, and feel fortunate that I had the opportunity to work with such a sweet lady.  I pray that the Swetka Family find some comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Lori was the most positive person I have ever known.  I have know her since junior high school and could never keep up with her.  She had so much energy which comes from having a positive attitude.  She was blessed with a wonderful husband and the pleasure of experiencing motherhood.  It's so hard for all who knew her to lose her, but it will be especially hard for Brendon and Ken.  They will remain in my prayers and Lori has been for the past four+ years.  You will be greatly missed my dear Lori!

Lori worked with me a couple of years ago before I retired.  She was always smiling.  She will be missed.  Her family has my deepest sympathy.

Years ago, I had the pleasure of sharing a week long camping trip with Lori and Brendon. It was one of the best times that I had and came to appreciate what a wonderful woman Lori was.
She is missed.

Everyone remembers Lori's laugh and smile and how completely upbeat she was.  I also remember,  from way way back how cute she and Ken were together.  When they first started dating and we went to her 'Mom's' house and she was talking about how she wanted to remodel it.  That never stopped and she found Ken to make her dreams come true. What a love story!

It's been about 6 years since I worked with Lori, but she was always positive and upbeat and had such a beautiful smile. She would brighten anyone day that was was around her.  She loved life and was always up for new challenges and experiences in life.  God Bless you all during this time and God Bless Lori.

Ken and Brandon, It has been awhile since Lori and I worked together but she will remain a memory in my heart.  She was such fun.

I will always remember Lori's excellent "can-do" attitude and spunky demeanor. Lori was always happy to help and provided "positive" problem solving techniques. I will miss her happy smile.

Lori's attitude and disposition no matter the challenge will always be remembered. Our prayers and thoughts to Ken and Brandon.

Some time in 2001 when we became members of CYC, while everybody really made us feel welcome there, Lori stood out the most with her welcoming smile. She always made us feel at ease, it was so easy, so relaxing, such great fun to be around her. We often think of her when we make 'guacamole' - a trade she taught us during the preparation of one of the many parties! Even through her illness she was always sooo positive when we communicated, she made it easy to speak to her about this terrible disease. We are so sad that the world has lost such a great woman, but we cherish the memories and know that she now is 'free". Our thoughts are with Ken and Brendon and everybody who has been touched by Lori.

I worked with Lori and enjoyed doing so.  She was a delight.  Always having a good positive attitutude, always willing to help, always very personable - and very very knowledgeable.  I will miss her. I will keep her family in my thoughts and prayers.

Ken and Brendon, I am so sorry for your loss.  Lori was a great woman!  Always cheerful and helpful!  She and Brendon went on our last cruise with us and we had a great time!  She made working at St John a great time!  My sincerest condolences.
