Louis J. Chelootz, age 88, of St. Clair Shores, died on Monday, October 31st at his home. He was born on August 30, 1923 in Warren, Pennsylvania. He was employed for many years at the National Bank of Detroit as a Trust Officer. He was preceded in death by his wife Eileen in 2005. Surviving are nieces and nephews Harold (Mary) Schwall, Charles (Dorothy) Schwall, Victoria Pascaretti and Lucille (Ron) Vanhovick. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday 3:30pm until 9pm at the Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores. In state Friday 10am until 11am, the time of the funeral service at Bethel Lutheran Church, St Clair Shores with the Rev. Hank Flatt officiating. Interment Meade Cemetery, Macomb Twp.
