Dear Jeff - I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom. She was a lovely lady and everyone on Riverside loved her. We didn't realize as kids way back then how fortunate we were. I remember spending a warm summer's day with your Mom when I was about 12. She took me shopping with her and we went to Birmingham. I remember how much I loved spending the day with her. She gave me advice when I started college and arranged for an interview at GM when I graduated.
I have such wonderful memories of your Mom and if angels do live among us your mother was one of them.
Love, Ping

Dear Jeff and family,
I was very saddened to hear that your mother had passed. My deepest condolences to you and your family.
Lucy has been a huge part our family since the 1960's since she and my dad Chuck worked together for many years at GM Design. I recall over the years, the countless times she helped our family with a variety of personal and business matters. Lucy was never without a warm smile, ample generosity and a genuinely caring heart.
Lucy's poise and beauty was simply ravishing inside and out. She was one of the nicest, yet classiest and caring people one could ever know. More recently at my Dad's memorial celebration, she was the one person I most wanted to see.
Lucy, we love you and we'll miss you. You'll always hold a special place in our hearts.

Dear Greg, Jeff & family.
A golden heart is no longer beating; however, her smile, her laughter and her love will remain embedded in our hearts forever. Lucy was my dear friend from the moment we first met at GM Styling so many years ago. Thank you, Greg & Jeff, I will treasure the time we spent together with Lucy two weeks before she left us.
May you find peace knowing she is at rest, no longer in pain. We'll miss you, my dear Lucy. Love, Marlynn

I met Lucy when I started at G.M. in 1959 and we worked together for many years. We remained 'long distance' friends (Mich-Calif-Tenn) all these years.
Just last month we had a great time reminiscing on the phone. I feel so
fortunate to have had her in my life. I will miss you, dear friend.

Aunt Lucy Was my godmother. Our hearts and thoughts go out to my cousin Jeff and his family. I have so many memories of Aunt Lucy, pulling in the drive in a corvette waving to us in the pool , the wonderful gifts i received for christmas and birthdays, and recently when i was really sick around christmas past she called me and in her words I can't beleive that a strapping young man is going to let this beat him. It didn't , Thank Aunt Lucy Godmother Love Willard Mazure Jr.

Lucy entrusted me with the care of her school-aged son,Jeff. She and Wade allowed me to care for my younger siblings and swim in their pool, where we have family-like memories. Several learned to swim over those summer vacations from school. I was just a teen-aged girl and appreciated the many beautiful clothes that she gave me. Her kindness was in every greeting and action. Thank you Lucy, Jeanne Wade Diesing

Lucy was one of the first people I met at General Motors---and one of those who remained a friend long after we both retired. She was smart, sensitive and always good company. I know how much she loved her family and can only imagine how much she will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you---and, my lovely friend Lucy.

Mike and I are so sad that Lucy lost her brave battle. She was always cheerful and positive and we will miss her a lot. She had great stories about life at GM and the adventures and people she met. She was a part of GM history when it was an automotive powerhouse. Our sympathy to Greg her companion of many years and her family. Linda and Mike

My sympathy to Lucy's family at this time of loss. I worked with Lucy for many years and she has been my good friend for 50 years.
Find peace in knowing she has shed the burden of a failing body and has reclaimed her wings to soar as a free spirit once again.
