Margaret Louise LaForest

Margaret Louise LaForest, age 95, passed away peacefully at home on September 18, 2021. She was born in Danville, Illinois on August 26, 1926 to parents Elmer and Agnes Olson. Margaret was the dearest wife to the late James G. LaForest Sr. She was the loving mother to her 8 children: Suellen (the late Chester Dean) Switzer, Dolores (the late Robert Sr.) Tucker, Joanne (the late Leroy) Jorah, James (Deborah) LaForest Jr., Mark (Beverly) LaForest, Deborah (Lawrence) Dibianca, Beverly LaForest, Michael LaForest; loving grandmother to 29, great-grandmother to 44, and great-great grandmother to 13. Also left to cherish her memory are many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Funeral mass on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. (Instate 9:30 a.m.) at St. Margaret of Scotland, 21201 E 13 Mile Rd., St. Clair Shores. Internment will take place at St. Peter Cemetery in Mt. Clemens.

Due to Covid-19 the family requests that everyone in attendance wear a mask.
