Margaret Penny, age 84, of Roseville, Michigan, passed away on January 13, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, to parents David and Christine Hunter. Loving mother to Linda (David) Ake and Jane (Gary) Couckuyt. Cherished grandmother to Blake and Troy Couckuyt. Dear sister to Carol (Jerry) Chamberlin. Margaret was preceded in death by her twin sister Mary Taylor, Helen Messer, David Hunter and Joanne Stowe.
Margaret loved God and her family very much. She enjoyed spending time with them having dinner and playing her favorite card game. She also enjoyed going to the casino with her twin sister on occasion. She was loved by all who knew her and sacrificed so much to raise and support her family. The impact she has made can’t be measured and she will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 25, 2025, beginning at 10:00 until time of service at 2:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
