On Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 heaven gained an angel. Marian Adeline Neumann (age 95) was born on March 4th 1930. She was a lifelong resident of Clinton Township, Michigan. Marian was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edwin Dale Neumann. Marian is survived by her loving children: Susan Neumann, Mark (Cindy) Neumann; caring grandchildren: Stacy (Mike) Clore, Christopher Reed, Stephanie Neumann and dear Great Granddaughter: Mackenzie. Marian was also preceded in death by her parents: Adam Ladowski "Ladd" and Tillie Ladowski and her siblings: Edward (Ellen) Ladd, Albert (Loretta) Ladowski, and Wallace (Lucy) Ladowski.
In her younger years, Marian enjoyed ballroom dancing with her brothers in Detroit. She had a passion for music that included learning the violin, playing the organ, as well as being a member of the Pershing High School Orchestra. Marian enjoyed Friday evening dinners at the VFW post with her brother Albert and sister-in-law Loretta. She met and fell in-love with her late husband Edwin Dale Neuman through best friend MaryAnn Neumann and eventually married in October of 1949. She was always well put-together, which included well manicured hair and nails. Marian worked for Allan Tool & Machine Company from 1966 until 2011, retiring when she was 81.
She will be laid in state at 10:00 AM on Friday December 19th, 2025, with service to follow at 11:00 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 30003 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores.
