When Marie was Michigan Grand President of the MOCA, I was her secretary. She was such a kind, thoughtful, sweet, loving lady to work with. My husband Robert usually came with me to help me carry all my equipment to the meetings and wait in the car for the meeting to be over. He was so helpful and kind to all the ladies helping them when needed. They would always give him a hug or a kiss but when Marie wanted to give him a kiss, she would ask my permission first. As if I would tell such a sweet lady no. Marie invited us to stay at her house when we came to the area for a meeting. So we did a couple of times and she was so happy to have us. She even took us down to show us her vast, precious collection of Red Wings items. She a delight to work with and I had to call her many times during the year. We both loved her and will miss her. Our blessing to Marie and hope we meet again in Heaven.

Steve, sorry to hear about your mom. She was such a wonderful seamstress and made such cute slipper/booties that you could never have enough of! Always was such a pleasant, warm person. I'm sure you have many memories to cherish. Sending prayers to you and your family. Sherry (Robinson) Marshall

It is sad to hear about Marie's passing,she was such a sweet little lady she always had a smile on her face and would have a kind word for you, Marie I am sorry for your and your families loss.

My heart is full of sadness, Marie was such a funny, kind and loving person. Many years ago during a conversation I told her that my friends call me Tree. Ever since that day that is what she called me. May wonderful memories of Marie fill your hearts during this difficult time.

Marie made miniature tote bags for all her officers & chairmen when she was Michigan's Grand President M.O.C.A. ~~ Mine is green, with red Lady Bugs ~~ she was always so pleased when she saw that I was using it ~~ This Grand Lady will be missed by all who knew her ~~  :(

A lovely lady so full of life and spunk.  That is how I remember her.  I still a Christmas ornament and Afghan she made for us. What a reunion with those that moved to heaven before her.

Marie, now you can give Jim as many kisses as you want to since I know both of you are in heaven together.  You will always have a special place in my heart.  Hugs, Ivy
