Marty was a great friend in High School. Over the years we lost touch, but I knew when I saw Marty again we could always pick where we left off. He was a bit of a prankster during his high school days. Marty loved his friends and was very loyal. If he could help in anyway way, he was there. I will always cherish the friendship we had. And look forward to when we reunite in Heaven❤️

GREETINGS TO ALL OF YOU WHO GATHER NOW TO CELEBRATE THE LIFE OF MARTY PREHN.

MARTY FOUGHT AGAINST ABUSIVE PROBATE GUARDIANSHIP AND PROBATE CORRUPTION, EVERY DAY FOR THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS, WHILE CARING FOR OTHERS AT THE EXPENSE OF CARING FOR HIS OWN HEALTH. JUST 4 DAYS BEFORE MARTY PASSED AWAY, HE SENT ME A TEXT ASKING HOW MY HEALTH WAS.

MARTY WAS MY FRIEND. HE MET MY MOTHER AND THEY HAD THEIR PICTURE TAKEN TOGETHER, BEFORE SHE DIED LAST YEAR AS A VICTIM OF ABUSIVE PROBATE GUARDIANSHIP.

MARTY CHERISHED HIS FRIENDSHIPS AND HAD HIS PHOTO TAKEN WITH RANKING PUBLIC OFFICIALS INCLUDING MICHIGAN ATTORNEY GENERAL DANA NESSEL. BUT HIS BEST FRIENDS WERE SENATOR PETE LUCIDO AND FUTURE SENATOR TERRANCE MEKOSKI. AND DURING A HEARING AT THE MACOMB COUNTY PROBATE COURT, MARTY STOOD FOR A PHOTO WITH MY SON, NAVY CAPTAIN WINTON SMITH.

MARTY AND I HAD MANY LONG TALKS ABOUT THE HORRIBLE INCIDENTS THAT PLAGUE FAMILIES CAUGHT IN PROBATE, AND VIEWED OUR EFFORTS AS A BATTLE OF GOOD AGAINST EVIL.

MARTY AND I SUPPORTED THE TRUMP CAMPAIGNS AND PUBLIC DEMONSTRATIONS FOR FREEDOM OF SPEECH. MARTY AND I ADDRESSED CROWDS WHILE STANDING ON THE TRUMP UNITY BRIDGE THAT ROBB COURTIS ENTERED IN MANY EVENTS.

MARTY STOOD BEFORE THE MICHIGAN ATTORNEY GENERAL AND HER TASK FORCE AGAINST ELDER ABUSE SEVERAL TIMES, REPEATING HIS REQUEST THAT THEY TAKE ACTION AGAINST ABUSIVE PROBATE GUARDIANSHIP AND PROBATE CORRUPTION.

LET US ALL REMEMBER MARTY AS THE SUPERHERO HE ALWAYS WANTED TO BE.

I REMAIN IN GOOD FAITH,
FRED W. SMITH
U.S. NAVY RETIRED

I met Marty during the filming of "Lawless America". Marty was - and always will be - known as a "survivor". He was then (2012) trying to make sense out of the senselessness going on in America. Ever since then, he was always reaching out to others downtrodden, in constant effort to show them the peaceful ways to pick up and move on with life. He kept an eye on the past and a heart for the future. Indeed, he was a big man with a big heart. Thanks for your years of friendship, distant as much of it was, Marty. I mourn your too-soon death. I'm glad to have shared some smiles with you, however. My best regards and condolences to your blessed family.
