Mary Maxine Brus, age 82, of Long Lake, Michigan, formerly of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away January 23, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. Maxine is the beloved wife of the late T. Robert Brus; the loving mother of Mary Ann (Jim) Peters, Pat (Terry) Conley, Jacki Brus, Laurie Brus, the late Kathy Brus, Robert (Diane) Brus, and Therese (Doug) Blackaby; devoted grandmother of Marie, Michelle, Allison, Armen, and Josh; and dearest sister of Marcella Krist, Laura (Alvin) Taylor, and Gary (Sue) Cooney. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Rita Brus, Karen Rodenbach, and Michelle (Tom) Denton and brother-in-law, Earl “Rip” Harrington. Visitation Wednesday from 5 – 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 – 9 p.m. (with a prayer service 7 p.m.) at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Visitation will continue Friday at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, St. Clair Shores, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.
