Everyday I struggle thinking of what an immense loss you have been in my life. To know Alli will never get to know you as I did, or any future children I may have. But, I always feel your presence when the times get real hard. Your love and grace fills each one of us in this family. I know your in my dreams at night, and I know I can speak to you when ever I want. But until we see each other again...

Dear Mom,  
I will do my best to continue your Legacy of Love and Kindness, whether to family, friends or complete strangers, as you so genuinely did.
I also hope to spread the name of Jesus in word and deed and continue studying the Bible as you spent most of your life so passionately doing.
I'll miss our 5 minutes to 3 hour telephone calls... whether I was asking you for advice, we were discussing the Bible, telling family stories, talking about current events or saying our many many Prayers, it was never small talk :)
One of the things that is helping me get through your loss, is your Faith you had in Jesus as your Lord and Savior.  It gives me Hope and Peace!  Plus, it is comforting to know that so many have been praying for me and our whole family as we are mourning your loss. 
I miss you, but I will see you again one day!  As you once told me, "It's not how you start, but how you finish!"

I am sad to say that my dearest and loving grandma passed last Monday morning, June 27, after exactly five months of fighting from complications from an aortic abdominal aneurysm surgery.  She was the most caring and loving person and it absolutely breaks my heart knowing she is gone. She was my grandma, my mentor and most of all my best friend. I will forever cherish all of our long talks, her advice and most of all her hugs, which there are no hugs greater than a hug from grandma. She was not a selfish person, even while she was sick, she still wanted to make sure everyone around her was taken care of, when we were the ones there taking care of her. You are no longer in pain and even though I know you didn't want this to be your time to go, you should be happy knowing that you lived a long and beautiful life and surrounded yourself with people that loved you. God gained a beautiful angel and I know you are dancing and singing in heaven and having the time of your life. 

Grandma, you are the rock to our family, you held us all together and I know you will be watching over us. I appreciate everything you have taught and helped me with and I wouldn't be the person I am today with out you.  You have the biggest heart and cared for everyone around you. 

I will forever miss when I would leave the house and you would touch the top of my head and then my feet and say May the angels protect you, from the crown of your head, to the souls of your feet, and guide you away from any harm, amen. 

Your presence will be missed, but will never be forgotten. 
Rest in peace grandma, it still doesn't seem real, but just know that you were loved by so many and will forever be missed.

We talk about you almost everyday.  You are constantly in our thoughts.  Abbey feels your presence with her, protecting her and watching over her.  You were taken too soon from us.

In addition to her love, kindness and generosity she had a brilliant mind.  Great memories of the intellectual conversations and thought provoking ideas and theories.  From Biblical prophecy to current day politics, there wasn't anything she wasn't ready to discuss.  Anyone that was lucky enough to have a conversation with her couldn't leave it without feeling intrigued.  She had a beautiful mind.  She will be dearly missed.
