Dear Stein Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Mary Ann's passing. I was very surprised and saddened to see her notice. She looked so good when I saw her on festival weekend. I enjoyed my brief visit with her and Tim at St Pio's festival. She expressed how happy she was to be back at church and was hoping to feel well enough by next year to even help out at the festival. 
I will always remember her sitting in her area at the 4:00 Mass on Saturdays. It was always a special time when we would see each other at church and chat about the old neighborhood on L'Anse. It was always a wonderful way to stay connected with old neighbors and the parishioners we both knew from St Gertrude's.
I have been praying for Mary Ann and know she is in Heaven now with your Mom and Dad and your brother. Please know that I include all of you in my prayers as you spend time together remembering your wonderful sister.

I am saddened to learn of Mary Ann's death. I was the parish secretary for St. Athanasius for 15 years and would look forward to occasional visits by Mary Ann, usually to set up mass intentions for various family members. And I would always look forward to her homemade candies around Christmastime! They were the best! My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. She will not be forgotten.

Today we lost a precious mother, sister, and best friend but gained an angel in heaven. Mary Ann made sure to send me a birthday card before she left. She wished me happy memories and fun surprises and was definitely shocking that she had passed away on my birthday. She told me that she had finished another round of therapy and can walk without a walker. I was excited and couldn’t wait to call her on Sunday to thank her for the birthday card and blessed wishes and let her know I would see her in Michigan in 3 weeks. Mary Ann you will be deeply missed, may your soul Rest In Peace and your memory forever be eternal. Our deepest sympathy goes to all your immediate family members . Mary Ann I LOVE YOU and will see you on the other end.
