Mary Joan Zobel

Mary Joan Zobel "Mary Jo", age 75, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on August 31, 2022. She was born on September 26, 1946 to the proud parents of Vincent and Mary Zobel. She was a 1964 graduate of St. David High School in Detroit, Michigan. Loving mother to Pamela (Bryan) Covyeau and Michael (Jamee) DiCenzo. Cherished grandma to Mathew (Saundra) Mason, Ryan (Kelli) Mason, Zachary (Claire) Petzel, Sheldon DiCenzo, Myles DiCenzo and Teaghen DiCenzo. Great-Grandmother to Sophia Mason, Kiera Mason, Alexia Mason, Ella Mason and Issac Mason. Dear sister to Richard (Delyn) Zobel. Mary was preceded in death by her sons David DiCenzo and Paul DiCenzo who she lovingly cared for, her brothers Jerry Zobel, Michael Zobel and Brian Zobel, sisters Patricia Marshall and Julie Chunchick. Mary will be missed by her brother in law Randy Chunchick, sister in law Donna Zobel, along with many family and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday September 9, 2022, beginning at 11:30 am until time of Mass at 12:00 Noon at St. Paul on the Lake 157 Lake Shore Road, Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan 48236.
