Merrill Leo Bunte

Merrill Leo Bunte, age 96, passed away on February 21, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Edna for 61 years. Dear father of the late William (Linda) Bunte, the late Dani Bunte, Russell (Cheryl Lipinski) Bunte, and Linda (the late John) Trevillian. Loving grandfather of Brian (Susan) Bunte, Antonio (Victoria) Zucca, Lena (Jason) Elliott, and Marissa (Dan Griffin) Zucca. Loving great-grandfather of Liam Bunte, Alexander Bunte, Annalise Bunte, Isabella Bunte, Ariana Zucca, Alessandra Zucca, Antonio Zucca, Elijah Elliott, and Zoey Elliott. Merrill is also survived by many loving relatives and friends. He was an Army Veteran and served in the Korean War. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America. Visitation Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Interment immediately following at Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia.
