Michael is survived by his daughter Camryn, mother Jeanette, sister Teresa (Steve) Sadowski, former wife Laura, nephews Steven, Thaddeus, Jack and dear friend Ann Saunderson. His father George predeceased him 2014.
Michael joined the Marines after high school and later attended Wayne State University where he earned an undergraduate degree. He then went on to earn his master's degree in business from University of Detroit Mercy. Michael was a member of Sigma Pi fraternity. He enjoyed hanging out with friends. He truly appreciated the support of his fraternity brothers and many other lifelong friends.
Michael enjoyed many adventures with his daughter Camryn travelling to Florida, Chicago and other parts of the country. His beloved dog Macy was frequently by his side and was a great comfort to him. Mike recently began exploring his creative side by taking photography courses at the Center for Creative Studies. Many times he mentioned that the help he received from the Veterans Administration was invaluable.

If you are attending visitation we ask that you please wear your mask and social distance the best you can. We are only allowing 10 guests in the visitation room at a time.
If you are attending the 10:00AM funeral mass on Monday, please note that there will not be a period of instate prior to mass. We ask that you arrive no earlier than 9:45AM. Upon arriving at St. Margaret's please go directly in and find a seat as there is not enough room to safely socially distance in the back church. Because of rules around Covid 19 seating is limited to 100 at the church. Please wear a mask.
Inurnment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. at a later date.
