I have been so lucky to have you as my friend for over 40 years!! We have been threw it all, good, bad and everything in between!! I have so many memories that there won’t be a day that goes by that I won’t think of you!! Every time a “Heart” song comes on, or I watch an episode of “TNG” I will think of you! You have always been there for me! No matter how dumb or silly or unimportant!! You were the only person in the world that I could sit on the phone for hours and hours! You were my friend, my voice of reason! I am going to miss you more than you will ever know!! You were a friend to so many others, but I can tell you that there are three of us that our lives have been deeply wounded by your loss!! Our lives will never be the same without you!! I know that as I grieve, you are finally at peace! You are not sad or broken anymore!! There will never be another person in this world like you! RIP

Mike was the best friend a guy could ever hope for. Through over 24 years of friendship I never once doubted you were by my side. You were my confidant, my pal, my sounding board, my voice of reason, and never afraid to give me your opinion. I trusted you completely.
There are too many memories to list. I admired your endless childlike curiosity, your fascination with anything you deemed “big”. Major weather events, the stars in the sky, the immensity of the universe, the ocean, skyscrapers were all things that captured your interest and imagination.
I was so excited you fulfilled your dream to become a Physician’s Assistant. You worked so hard and made so many sacrifices to make that dream your reality. You were wicked smart, arguably the smartest person I know, not only in medicine but a broad array of topics. You always played it down and never wanted the attention. Whenever I had a medical question you had the answer and could “dumb” it down for me. I know you loved it when I would slaughter a medical term or condition and you couldn’t stop laughing, making me spell it out so you could pronounce it for me and put it into context. I told you many times you were so fortunate to have the ability through your talents to help so many people, while people like me who analyze data for a living are really just pushing numbers around a database, you instead made tangible differences in people’s lives. It just came so easy for you.
Life will never be the same. I will miss so many of the things we shared. Whenever I look to the nighttime sky and see the stars, I will think of you.

So sad to hear of your passing. I've looked for you for many years. One of my greatest memories of you, is when we were kids and our Moms would go out, we would sit on the phone for HOURS and you would play DJ and play me music. How I wish we could go back to those days.
Rest in paradise, my friend.
