Mrs. Dumbleton was a childhood friend of my mother and her sisters in the tiny town of Osceola Mills, PA. Their friendship continued throughout their lives. She was at my wedding in 1994 and I remember her dancing the night away. Not long after I moved to St Clair Shores a year ago she called my parents and I realized she was living very close to me. I spoke with her several times on the phone and then one night while walking our dog with my oldest son we ran into each other outside and had a nice visit. A little arrangement by God I think as we could not visit inside because of the pandemic restrictions. I’m so happy I got to see her in person. She was a great lady and I’m sure will be missed by all. I’m sure the Mineweaser girls Jane, Marion “Mern” (my mother) and Rita are enjoying a joyous reunion in heaven. My dad, John Sandberg, would also like to add his condolences. He enjoyed their phone conversations very much.
