A World War II Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Maria Christina Rivera Filippone; loving father of Mary Frances Plunkett, Judy (Thomas) Rempel, Frank (Noemi) Filippone, and the late Joseph Filippone; dear grandfather of Christopher (Shelby), Nicole (Michael), Katrina, Marcella, and Francesca; and loving great-grandpa to Jordin, Sophia, Shane, Benjamin, and Brady. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews; and by his caregivers: Son'Cia and Richard. Visitation 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (Rosary at 7:00 p.m.) Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, MI. Funeral mass 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at St. Joan of Arc, 22412 Overlake St, St Clair Shores, MI.
