Penny was selfless, loving, and deeply compassionate. She was a source of strength and wisdom to those around her—a peaceful presence who did not take sides, but instead offered guidance, comfort, and understanding without judgment. Her door was always open, and everyone who entered was treated as her own.
When she was able, Penny found joy in planting flowers in her flower beds, especially delighting in a good sale on “sad” end-of-season flowers and plants that she lovingly brought back to life. This quiet nurturing reflected who she was at her core.
She is survived by her children: Heather (Michael), Randa (Henry), Jeffrey (Sandra), Terra (Chris), Traci (Marcos), and Amy; as well as her sister, Earlene, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Madison, daughter, Taune, and her brother, Earl.
Penny’s legacy lives on through her children, the values she taught, and the countless lives she touched by simply being there for everyone who needed her.
