Rahme Ibrahim Azar

Rahme Ibrahim Azar, age 86, passed away at home on September 11, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony and parents Ibrahim and Afifah Azar. Rahme is survived by her children: Anthony (Tracy), Mamdouh, David (Lindsay), Sandra; grandchildren: Kelly (Josh), Clare, Brandon, Austin, Anthony; siblings: Madeha (the late Abe), Elias (Azizi), the late Sam (Georgette), Mona (the late Aboud), Amin (Mary), the late Joseph (Halla), and Jeannie (the late Ron). Also left to cherish her memory are many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and friends. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and working in her garden, knitting, sewing, and crocheting. Rahme loved spending time with her grandchildren and she loved her pets, especially her favorite cat, Joey. She enjoyed traveling with her family and visited her birthplace in Amar, Syria. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Internment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
