Dobbs and Gene Bilewicz. 1973. Friends for a lifetime.
Cool is a rule! Even at a rest stop on the way up to northern MI for the "Fish n' Club" or to the World Famous "Dobbs Invitational" in Warsaw, IN. A Prestigious annual tournament typically held at Rozella Ford Golf Resort and Spa.
The Fish n' Club started around 1967 and the Dobbs Invitational ran till 2012. Over that 45 years, friends, fathers, sons, uncles, son in laws, etc. were able to experience memories that carry on in all of us. And as long as you remember them, they are never gone.

To the Dobbs family. The picture I have enclosed was the last gathering at the little white table near the pool before your father headed back North. We enjoyed meeting at this table periodically for a martini, glass of wine or an iced tea and a little bit of conversation. The little white table will not be the same this winter without his presence. A few of us will gather in the next month or so to toast and tell wonderful stories and share memories of past get togethers and parties. I always felt a little safer knowing your father was right across the courtyard and that I could call him at any time if I needed him and vice versa. He would pop in occasionally with some wonderful Madelines or some Polish Paczkis to share. I will miss our spirited conversations and the beauty about those was neither one of us ever got upset with the other we respected each other's opinions. He was a very very special man and we all will miss him. Lots of love and hugs to all of you as you prepare to say your goodbyes you all are in our thoughts and our prayers.
