Richard Pond, age 73, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on December 23, 2022. He was born on April 25, 1949, to the parents of Albert and Clara Pond. Beloved husband of 54 years to Helena Pond. Loving father to James (Rebecca) Pond, Michael Pond, and Helen (James) Rushlow. Cherished Grandpa to Tyler Pond, Kyle (Brandi) Pond, Sydney (Kyle) Kelly, and Clara Rushlow. Great-Grandfather to Rieghlynn, and Logan Pond. Dear brother to Albert Pond. Richard will be missed by many family and friends.
Richard loved to garden, travel, tinkering in the garage and spending time with family. He has been involved in helping with many charities while being a Mason. Richard retired as a millwright after a 30 year carrier with Local # 1102.
Family will receive friends on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm, with a Mason Service at 7:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
