Robert W. Hardy, age 94, a long time Eastpointe resident, passed away on May 15th, 2015. He was born on December 13, 1920 in Nelsonville, Ohio. He was employed as a machinist in the automotive field. A decorated World War II Veteran and a true hero to his country and especially his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Wilma. Dear father of Judith (Bob) Peters, Robert (Linda), Stephanie (Blair) Davis, Mary (John) Kandrot and William (Rima). Loving grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 7. Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, May 30 from 3pm until 6pm, the time of the memorial service at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores.
