Robert Roy Hovis, age 74, passed away on August 16, 2026. He was born in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan on March 31, 1952 to his late parents Earl and Edith Hovis. Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Leigh; loving children: Robert (Sarrah), Kenneth, David; dear grandson: Griffin; and caring brother: Mark (Donna). He was known as Ice Cream Bob to many as he drove an ice cream truck for 20 years. In Robert’s honor donations may be made to St. Clair Shores Cops for Kids. Private family services have been held.
