Ron was a unique guy with all kinds of innovative promotional ideas. The Vernor's GNOME is a self portrait of himself and he was a great graphic artist. He helped me get sponsorship support from Vernors during the 70's when I worked at the March of Dimes. He had one of the best Gorilla outfits ever and loaned it to me for a Halloween Party one time. He was a very caring fun guy to know. I'm sad to hear about his passing but glad to have known him.

Ron was a super innovative guy and a true graphic artist. I enjoyed working with him on some March of Dimes promotions in the 70's. I remember him driving around in his Pacer Gnomemobile going to kids birthday parties promoting Vernors Ice Cream. He gave me his Gorilla costume once for a Halloween Party. The Vernors logo of the Gnome is a self portrait of himself. So clever and fun. Sorry to hear of his passing.

I had the honor of meeting Mr. Bialecki in 2007.  The memorabilia of the Vernors Gnome was amazing.  I have always remembered him and his stories. RIP Mr. Bialecki!

Ron was my closest friend at Lakeview High School.  Although I only saw him at class reunions, he always had a special place in my heart.  In 2006 he gave me a dedicated copy of the book "The Vernor's Story", which I happened to find today and thought of him. So sorry to hear of his passing

RIP, Ron!  My husband and I bowled with Ron and Jean many years ago at Continental Lanes and became friends.  I even bowled in tournaments with their son, Kurt (good times!).  You will be missed, Ron, but our memories of you and your wonderful family will live on forever in our hearts. Jean, Kurt & family...our prayers are with you during this sorrowful time.

Pat and I will really miss Ron. He was a great brother in law. Ron always had an interesting story to tell. He made everyone feel comfortable whenever you met him. God Bless.

I was fortunate to have worked with Ron during the time he was the Vernor's Gnome.  I took several of the photos Ron used for publicity and hand-outs at various events.  He was a very creative person and good to work with.  He was known throughout the advertising industry in Detroit and many areas in the U.S.  He will certainly be missed.  Our condolences to his family.

awwww.....He and his wife were live down the street. They were always so friendly & welcoming.  Our kids and grandkids & us love the Vernors Gnome!  He will be missed!
