I remember her and her husband and Matt from the old neighborhood. So many memories of these nice people. So sad that she has passed. My condolences to all of you.

I always considered myself as Aunt Ida’s (sic) favorite nephew. The more I think about it, I suspect Aunt Ida had a way of making everyone feel as though they were her “favorite”. She had a never-ending supply of patience and mountains of energy for the activities and the people she loved. Aunt Ida had one if the kindest hearts I have had in my life - never a bad word about anyone and tons of empathy for everyone. In addition to these fine qualities, my Aunt also had a drive and a discipline that allowed her to lead an active life - including long distance cycling that much younger people (myself included) would not attempt. Her warmth and kindness will be missed by all and my heart goes out to my Uncle Joe and my wonderful cousins because nobody will me her more than them.
