Rose was the beloved wife of the late Adino Casciani and a loving mother to Rosanna (Matthew) Casciani-Collins, and the late Paul (the late Theresa) Casciani. She was a cherished grandmother to four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. With steady devotion and a generous spirit, Rose gave of herself in both quiet and enduring ways, shaping her family with kindness, wisdom, and selfless care.
Rose was known for being a great cook, and many will remember her for making what was said to be the best pasta sauce ever and amazing cannolis. The great cannoli debate was always a topic of conversation among family members. If you know you know. Her warmth was felt most fully in the time she shared with family and friends, offering a welcoming presence and a thoughtful heart.
An artist in every sense, Rose, found joy and meaning in creating. She loved to paint, draw, make porcelain dolls, and enjoyed sewing—each piece reflecting patience, skill, and gentle attention to detail. Her openness to new experiences shone through when she took up belly dancing, a reminder of her enduring spirit and willingness to embrace life with grace.
Memorials in memory of Rose are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the Make a Wish Foundation.
Rose will be laid to rest next to her husband Adino at Christian Memorial Gardens West in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
