Roy J. DeKeyzer

LeRoy Joseph DeKeyzer, age 93, of Novi, Michigan passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023. Roy was born in Detroit, Michigan, to parents Theodule and Eugenia DeKeyzer. Loving husband of 65 years to Kay DeKeyzer. Beloved father to John (Mariana) DeKeyzer, Judi (Bruce) Richards, Dianne Benenati, Nanci (Ernie) Bock and Carol (Danny) DeKeyzer. Cherished grandfather to Steven Eddy, Suzanne Eddy, Brandon (McKensey Pizzo) Richards, Andrea (Aaron) Hodges, Shannon (Nick) Lipon, Kelsey Richards, Bailey Benenati, Alyssa Benenati, Cort Benenati, Briana (Taylor) Fernandez, Andrew (Summer) Bock, Zach Bock, Alex Bock, Crystal Bock, Jenna (Gavin) Kelly, Alejandro DeKeyzer, Mariel DeKeyzer, Kee DeKeyzer, Christian DeKeyzer and Sydney DeKeyzer. Great-Grandfather to Tyler Harber, Isaiah Gomez, Peyton Gomez, Dylan Gomez, Kingston Eddy, Zayne Ware, Halsey Richards, Prymm Richards, Maizey Richards, Anna Lipon, Nicholas Lipon II, Asher Fernandez, Owen Fernandez, Scott Dreaver, Wyatt Kelly and great-great-grandfather to Aspyn Mathis.

Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, August 11, 2023 beginning with an In-State at 10:00 am, until time of Mass at 10:30 am, at St. Isaac Jogues 21100 Madison Street, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, with a Rosary/Prayer Service at 7:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.

Inurnment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery

Memorial donations in memory of Roy are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Capuchins Soup Kitchen or Right to Life Michigan.
