Sharon Ann Southerland

Sharon Ann Southerland, age 80, passed away on June 23, 2025. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 14, 1944 to her late parents George M. and Mary Pat Bittner. Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Southerland. She is survived by her loving children: Craig (Renee) Lanzon, Eric (Christie) Lanzon, Christopher (Nilsa) Lanzon, Marc (Brenda) Lanzon; dear grandchildren: Lucas, Zachary, Alexander, Yesenia, Cristina, Amante James, Austin; great-granddaughter: Isabella; and her best friend: Donna Hodgson. Sharon was also preceded in death by her siblings: Lawrence Bittner and Barbara Adams. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Visitation, Friday, June 27, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores.
