Shelley Jo Rider, age 60, passed away on June 11, 2025. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 2, 1964. Shelley was preceded in death by her loving father Paul Rider. She was the beloved daughter of Sally Rider; loving sister to Laura (Ben) Blowycky; dearest aunt and godmother to Darian Blowycky; and caring niece to Sharon (the late Jo), Biff (the late Doris), Lynne, and Kim (Gary). Also left to cherish her memory are many loving cousins and friends. Shelley enjoyed working in her garden and making it into her own special oasis. She also enjoyed loving and taking care of her three amazing kitties, Dani, Zoey, and Luna. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal charity of your choice. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 6:30 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. The family hopes that everyone will remember Shelley for her kind, caring, loving, and generous heart.
