Sue Antoinette McCallum

Sue Antoinette McCallum (Messacar) was a great woman. She passed away at the age of 64 surrounded by family on June 28, 2017. She was born June 16, 1953 in Detroit and was a lifelong Detroit suburb resident.

She was a mother to Mark when he arrived from S. Korea, and a loving wife to Glenn for many years. Sue worked as a secretary, telemarketer, and school teacher. She loved reading, doing puzzles and most of all spending time with family and friends, all while drinking her many cups of coffee. As aunt Rose said, she was always the life of the party.

Sue is survived by her son, Mark; parents, Donald and Lorraine Messacar of Pickney; siblings, Don (Kathy) of Metomora, IL, Christine Rose of Lake Orion, Guy of Pinckney, Clay of Phoenix, AZ, Laurie (Dean) of Phoenix, AZ, Glen (Jane) of Tempe, AZ, Rose (Pat) of Pickney, Sally (Roger) of Merritt Island, FL, Lisa (Matthew) of Dearborn; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn.

Visitation for Sue will be Wednesday, July 5, from 3-7pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave, St. Clair Shores, MI 48081. A funeral will be held Thursday, July 6, 10:00am at Kaul Funeral Home. Burial at Cadillac Memorial Garden East, Clinton Township. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to her son, Mark McCallum.
