Therese "Terry" Sweeney

Therese “Terry” Louise Sweeney, age 66, passed away after a long battle with cancer on August 8, 2022. She was born on February 10, 1956 in Washington, Michigan to her late parents Robert Spry and Pamela Abshier. Therese is survived by her beloved husband of 10 years, Patrick; loving children: Jamie (Julie) Kalmus, Stacy (Chris) Seitz, Adam Werth, Ashley (Lauren) Holzen; dear grandchildren: Ian, Aiden, Lexi, Jacob, Dillion, Aaliyah, Aryana, Adalynn, Lucas; and siblings: Barb Spry, Bobby (Jill) Spry, John Paul Spry, Chris (Melissa) Spry, Tony (Tina) Valentine, Ted (Denise) Valentine, and Fred Valentine. She was also preceded in death by her father, Charles Valentine. Therese was a test driver for Ford, bar tender, a medical assistant, and an ordained minister. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores.
