A graduate of Lakeshore High School, Thomas carried forward the steady determination of a hard-working life, meeting each season with quiet purpose and a thoughtful presence that made others feel seen and valued.
Thomas served in the United State Army, a commitment that reflected his sense of duty and the dependable strength he brought to those around him.
Thomas was the cherished husband of 32 years to Angela Schrock. He was the loving son of Harold Schrock, the late Shirley Schrock, and the late Helen Schrock. Thomas was the dear brother to 4 sisters and 3 brothers, and he will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In the moments that brought him simple joy, Thomas loved a great movie, liked to go fishing, and was a big lover of animals and his fur babies. His kind-hearted nature showed itself in the care he gave freely—through small, steady acts of love, and through the warmth he shared with family, friends, and the animals he adored.
In lieu of traditional flowers, the family requests that any floral arrangements be animal-friendly, as ensuring the safety of the family pets.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, with a service at 6:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081. Please note that construction is currently underway on Jefferson Avenue; guests are advised to plan for potential delays and consider alternate routes to the service.
