Tim was the perfect coworker at Comerica.  He would always be happy to help out.  I admired Tim's focus to always make family and friends his number one priority.  I think that the term worklife balance was invented to make others be more like Tim.  I remember a department meeting many years ago.  Tim wasn't able to make it because he was in the hospital with his first heart problem.  During the meeting we were all able to sign our name to tickets to draw for door prizes.  When we started to draw for prizes it seemed that everyone had written Tim's name on their ticket so that he won every time.  This was the kind of affection we all had for Tim.   It was a blessing for me to be Tim's friend and be one of the after retirement lunch groupies.  Tim, Heide, Cathleen, Cheryl and I would meet every so often with Tim at Buddy's.  Tim would always insist to treat us.  I believe that God brought us together at work and guided me to work with him on many of his financial matters.  He usually took my advise, except when it came to cars.  He had a weakness for cars and certainly enjoyed each one of them.   One of our last times together was when he drove his Corvette up to Comerica and parked it in the circle drive.  I took a seat and we chatted for awhile.  Tim, I will surely miss you.  I pray that you have a great place in Heaven and I'll see you again some day!

I’m going to miss you my friend....miss your smile, your laugh, your stories and your hugs!   You were so proud of your girls and grinned endlessly when talking about your grandkids... You are loved and you will never be forgotten.

Tim's passing has left us broken hearted.   His love for his family and friends carried us all to a higher place.   We should all take a page from his book and live our lives on our own terms.   Don't stress about things that in the end are meaningless.   Jill and Kristen he loved you more than anything.   I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.   As his colleague I loved him dearly.   God bless everyone who is devastated by this profound loss.

Over the last 30 years, you brought joy and laughs to my life.  I'll always remember the annual trips to Vegas, the golf trips to Myrtle Beach, Tawas, Mt Pleasant, and Northern  Michigan, the golf and bowling leagues that we shared, the fantasy football league, the countless tiger games, and the nights out with the boys.  The world and your friends will miss you but we'll never forget you.

You will be truly missed. Thanks for being a good friend to my brother  Alan Geldhof,  myself,  and his family.  We shared so many good times. You were always there when we needed you. My heart goes out to Tim's family and friends.  We lost a good one.  

I like the picture of Tim as that's how I remember him with that gentle smile.  Loved Tim's quiet sense of humor (I sometimes think he was the mastermind behind his crew's antics) and appreciated working with him.  Great memories of Tim and the "work family" he helped make at Comerica.
